Out with the Old,In with the New.

I am brewing a hot cup of coffee for her. Its time for one more of those heart to heart moments. I sit her down by the window, calm her and place that white porcelain mug with a thin powder blue border , it's her favourite.

These conversations are never easy . Even though there is a sigh on my lips yet I begin with a solid hand rested on my chest. In a very soft but firm voice ,( an oxymoron, but you know this one,You've been there too) I begin... With everything I have done to you , all the experiences that I have put you through, I haven't been very gentle towards you , this I know for sure! I haven't given you much in terms of Love,care and kind words , instead, have drawn a lot out of you in the name of empathy, compassion and service. We've been squabbling with each other far too long now. The time for peace to prevail has come. So , my Dear just know that - While I was doing all that , I taught you to wipe your own tears, find your own joy and learn to be truly happy. Over the years, that you have lived , I hope you have realised , that it's important to fill your own cup first, be responsible for your own happiness and raise yourself with utmost Respect. You have to be there for yourself when no one else will or can. You have to build your own set of tools to help you move forward. Lady , it may seem like I have been rough towards you throughout and it's true, but you do know that in the process, you've learnt the biggest lesson of a Lifetime . Remember , from here on , whenever the times are turbulent , or the weather not so fair, KNOW that you are being used to add more wealth to yourself and keep the FAITH. That this too shall PASS and you will emerge and more Powerful too! Your emotions are your own and they have immense power.

DO NOT give this POWER away to anyone else outside of you. You know that you have it within yourself to BRAVE everything. Hence, only -Depend on Yourself ! For now, this is Enough,You are Enough. Satisfied and with a faint smile on the lips,my conversation ends on a sweet note. Surely we'll see each other again , sooner than later. We meet often now-a-days ,
